I've sold most of my quickutz stuff. Now it's sadly time to part with my Cricut :( It's a great machine and I will miss it (if it weren't for the fact that I'm getting an expressions!) It's been well looked after, comes with a new blade and 2 new cutting mats. I am asking £110 for it. I am not including any cartridges with it because I can't bear to let go of any. You can buy them for around £30 from the U.S.

The plan for the class is coming together. I have 3 'students', possibly 4. It's going to be a bargain- just enough to cover the costs of materials because this is an experiment for me!

I'm flat on my back again - not just being lazy either! My back is bad again, but on the plus side, I am spending time getting inspired. I am taking notes of my ideas and making plans. Hopefully I will be back on my feet for the next crop. If not they will have to wheel me there in my bed!

Selling Quickutz

To help with my classes, I've decided to get a cricut expressions, so to make some money for it I am selling all my quickuts stuff. It's a great set, and if anyone is interested I would sell it at a good price as a job lot.

Details can be found on uk scrappers market place- follow the link

Thanks

the future's bright........

I'm hoping to run the occasional scrapbooking workshop from home. I have a huge passion for teaching and I keep trying to send it away, but it just won't go! I already have a long list of ideas for things I want to try. I am not short of inspiration- but not so good at follow through :) I am thinking an intimate affair- maybe just 4 people, in my conservatory, with pleasant music, home baked cake for refreshments, and, of course, exciting projects to work on together. It's as much about sharing creative moments as it is about what you take home, but I hope that the end results will be impressive too! I'm researching and will make some prototypes as examples. Let me know if you are interested.

The little things,,,,,,,,,,,

Don't look at any comments on my recent posts. When you click to read they seem to try to download a virus checker - or a virus! Hope it's not too late :) I am looking forward to the crop on 12th- it would be great to see lots there. I am working on the altered book, and loving the process, so that will be available to do at the crop. It's been busy here, with two weddings to prepare for, plus helping Becky and Kev with their house hunting, and visiting my sister who is in hospital a the mo.... but life is good. As I get older I am realizing more and more how important it is to enjoy the little things in life - no matter what bad stuff is happening. I take great pleasure in scrapping, baking, seeing the buds forming on the trees, waking up and deciding what I will do with my day. How wonderful! I think I am feeling the joys of spring.

Easter eggs and all the rest!

Happy Easter everyone! My mojo's back :) Having spent just half an hour with our crop group all my creative juices are flowing freely! This means that some of the Easter break must be spent scrapping between Easter eggs :) Hope you all have a fab Easter.

Where's my mojo???

Life has been busy- with Becky AND Nick getting married this year and a new grandchild due in May there are lots of good things happening. I don't know if my brain is addled with all the planning etc... but I have not felt inspired craft-wise for the first time in..........ever? I hear through the grapevine that some other Penkridge croppers are feeling the same??? I have plans to change all that. The next saturday crop in April is specificly designed to re-kindle that enthusiasm for the craft we love. There will be a class on altered books that is designed to get us to play again and find that "inner child" who loved messing with wax crayons, paper and paint at the kitchen table. Hope you can all make it :)

My memory card has died on me! The shop changed it for me- but sadly I lost all my retreat and holiday photos. Thankfully Chris Gregory emailed me some that she had taken- thanks Chris. The more I think about our retreat the more I want to go back and have another!
It's the crop tonight so we will see what everyone else thinks- but my guess is we will have to work out some dates,
